This is a great little collector's piece - a Fender Custom Shop Dakota Red '59 Relic Strat with a matching Custom Shop Relic Pro Junior amp!  A lovely relic job has been performed on both, and the strat has a great weight, with a rich classic Strat tone.  The amp captures all the classic tone that small Fender valve amps are so legendary for, and these are going to look great in some's music room together!

You know, I was somewhat sceptical about heavy relics until these came in, and now they're on my list of 'things I should've started ordering nine months ago but didn't because I fear change'.  This HSS strat is pretty much the paragon of that, having a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and two texas specials in the middle and neck.  It's got a 9.5 radius neck and medium jumbo frets with a sweet sixties feel to it.  It's a real singer, one of those that just sound so resonant acoustically that you almost forget to plug it in.  Includes Fender hard case and full set up, as per usual.

Ohh, what a fine beast this is.  Another Seymour Duncan in the neck, with classic Tele snarl in the bridge.  Light as a feather, extremely limited edition, and it sounds totally Right.  Great balance between the pickup outputs too.  The honeyburst finish is there, nice and subtle, don't believe the photo.  Nice work, Custom Shop.  I know it's somewhat sacrilegious, but I would like to see a heavy relic Tele Deluxe in black at some point too.  If all you guys email them and demand it, we can make my dream a terrifying reality.

We're never happy with the run-of-the-mill down at The Guitar Store towers, so for your viewing pleasure here is another limited relic - this time a '62 start in seafoam green over sunburst.  Look at that relic job!  You have to see the back of it too - it gives a great flame effect with the different layers of paint around the belt buckle marks.  This comment was met with derisive snorts in the shop, with lots of "IT'S NOT A FLAME MAPLE BACK YOU MORON!" and the sound of toys leaving prams at high speed.  When I explained that it looks like ACTUAL FLAMES PRODUCED BY FIRE I think we all felt like we spend too much time with gear.

I must admit that 'Seminale Red' was a new one to me, but it looks cracking none the less.  This is one of the few colours of red that guitars should be made in, in my extremely well-informed and narrow-minded opinion.  Another lovely instrument, these heavy relics really seem to have a big step up in feel over the 'normal' relics, plus you have to worry even less about accidentally bashing it against the chair when you sit down with it.  60's strat mojo in spades, with another fine relicing job from the people who brought you fine relicing jobs.

Inside and out, the ’60 Stratocaster NOS guitar is a detailed recreation of its Kennedy-era ancestor.

It features an alder body, ’60s C-shaped maple neck, and—for the first time in its history—a smaller truss rod and slab laminated rosewood fingerboard with clay dot markers. The pickup design is faithful to the original right down to the materials and winding, producing a characteristically smooth and glassy tone. Under the hood, Fender have even replicated the finish undercoating and the crude pickup-wiring routing in the body.

This guitar has been given the “New Old Stock” (NOS) treatment—built (from original tooling) as if bought new in its respective model year and just found today.  Includes Fender hard case and all accessories!

The new Classic Player HH Jaguar is a great departure from the standard Japanese Jaguars, being fitted with two Fender 'Enforcer' humbuckers and an adjust-o-matic bridge, delivering a thicker, gutsier tone more suited to modern rock and blues.

This Jetglo 330 plays beautifully, with a fantastic feeling neck and loads of true Ric mojo!  The guitar is all-original, has the odd ding but nothing structural, and has been well loved in it's lifetime.

This guitar is a real stunner. We think this is the best sounding soapbar guitar on the market, period. The McCarty Soapbars are fantastic pickups which were specially designed and voiced by Seymour Duncan to the specs of the PRS R&D department. Some soapbars compromise strength to achieve certain goals; these pickups do not. They aren’t humbuckers, but they sure sound good, with definition, robustness and thick punch of the original soapbar single coils that defined the sound of both rock and roll and combo jazz guitar in the ‘50s and ‘60s. The beautiful Gold Top finish on this guitar is in fantastic condition, this guitar has been very well cared for. The overall condition is incredibly clean, with barely any signs of wear at all. This comes with the original PRS hard case, which is in similarly fantastic condition.
